Trakia Economic Zone is a vibrant system of industrial zones located around Plovdiv, Bulgaria’s second largest city, which has accommodated all significant investments in the region over the last twenty years. It comprises six locations within 25 km radius and half-hour drive from the center of Plovdiv. Trakia Economic Zone consists of:

  • Maritza Commercial and Industrial Zone
  • Kuklen Industrial and Commercial Zone
  • Rakovski Industrial Zone
  • Agro Centre Kaloyanovo
  • Trakia Hi-Tech Innovation Park
  • Educational and Hi-Tech Park

It covers an area of 10.7 million sqm of which 7.45 million sqm are available for development. Investment in the area has created more than 12,000 jobs so far with 30,000 to be added with planned expansions.  


Moreover, Trakia Economic Zone offers flexible real estate solutions from standalone purpose-built developments to industrial park settings.
